Chief Sales Officer
Richard brings more than 25 years of operational experience building innovative companies and delivering information technology solutions to enterprises. His experience includes early stage, angel funded and venture-backed companies, as well as a number of the technology industry’s largest organizations. Richard is fortunate to have been a part of several successful acquisition exits and one company IPO.
Prior to Workspot, Richard was a seed investor and Chief Revenue Officer at Prevoty, a leader in runtime application self-protection and the Chief Revenue Officer at Moovweb, an innovative mobile web software company. Before Moovweb, Richard was VP of WW Sales and Business Development for NetBase Solutions. Prior to that, he was VP of Enterprise Sales at i365, a Seagate Company. He joined i365 through the company’s acquisition of MetaLINCS, where he was the VP of Field Operations responsible for Sales, Business Development, Consulting and Support. Richard was also VP of WW Sales for Trigo Technologies, the leader in Product Information Management. Trigo was acquired by IBM in 2004 and became the foundation for IBM’s very successful and fast growing Master Data Management software business. Richard also held Executive Management positions at several innovative companies including Verity (IPO in 1995) and Brightware (acquired by Firepond).
Richard holds a B.S.E.E. with honors from the University of the Pacific and was captain of the Collegiate Crew team.
